      <image:title>Artworks - Hong Kong’s Green Future, 2019</image:title>
<image:caption>This piece depicts a bustling city in ruins as nature takes over the once-busy streets, reminding us of its power and resilience. The vibrant greenery of the trees and plants beautifully contrasts with the faded tones of the decaying buildings, and the fine liner detailing adds texture and depth. The message is clear: no matter how advanced or powerful humans may think they are, nature will always prevail, and we need to respect and care for the world around us. <image:title>Artworks - Daredevil’s Reminiscence, 2021</image:title>
<image:caption>This collage reflects a man's life, created from images found in magazines. The central figure, an older man on the left, looks back on his past as he reflects on his life. The other elements in the piece represent visual fragments of his memories as they come together to tell the story of his journey. It's a moving and thought-provoking work that invites the viewer to ponder upon their own journey, reflecting on the path they have taken. <image:caption>The clock is used to represent the time that has passed and how it, just like the ringing of the clock, can annoy and disturb our daily life. The vibrant colors and bold strokes capture the energy of life in motion, while the chaotic blending of hues mirrors the unpredictability of life. The piece is a powerful reminder to embrace each waking moment, no matter how fleeting, and to keep pushing forward through life's challenges and surprises. <image:title>Artworks - Constant Contemplation, 2022</image:title>
<image:caption>“Constant Contemplation” captures the complex and multi-faceted nature of the human brain, expressed through a dynamic interplay of oil pastels and acrylic paints on a wooden panel. The painting juxtaposes moments of inspiration and frustration, illustrating the highs and lows that come with creative and intellectual pursuits. The use of vivid colors and textures reflects the depth and nuance of the human psyche, and the intricate patterns and shapes convey the intricacies of our thought processes. In its entirety, this powerful artwork is a stunning portrayal of the inner workings of the human mind, a testament to the beauty and complexity of the human experience. <image:title>Artworks - Great Gatz, 2024</image:title>
<image:caption>After reading The Great Gatsby in English Class, I created this piece to emphasize the novel’s theme during 1920s America and its superficial nature. I chose to juxtapose the grand Rolls Royce that Mr. Gatzy drives and the depressing industrial landscape. The “valley” billboard places the setting as the valley of ashes in the novel, representing the moral and social decay of the Roaring 20s; also seen from the hazy smudges of smoke above the car. <image:title>Artworks - Headless Dash, 2019</image:title>
<image:caption>This piece portrays Hong Kong’s fiercely competitive and challenging nature where survival is a constant struggle for office workers. The use of fine liner adds depth and texture to the piece, depicting the office workers mindlessly chasing after different things in order to survive. The city's highly stressful and fast-paced environment is reflected in the frenzied movements of the depicted figure, who seems to be turning into a robot, losing their humanity in the face of intense competition. The overall effect is a poignant commentary on the harsh realities of urban life, capturing the emotions and experiences of those who struggle to keep up in the cutthroat environment of Hong Kong. <image:title>Artworks (with old) - The Green Peace of Hong Kong’s Future, 2019</image:title>
<image:caption>This collage reflects a man's life, created from images found in magazines. The central figure, an older man on the left, looks back on his past as he reflects on his life. The other elements in the piece represent visual fragments of his memories as they come together to tell the story of his journey. It's a moving and thought-provoking work that invites the viewer to ponder upon their own journey, reflecting on the path they have taken. acrylic paint and magazine clippings on canvas</image:caption>

The vibrant colors and bold strokes capture the energy of life in motion, while the chaotic blending of hues mirrors the unpredictability of life. The piece is a powerful reminder to embrace each waking moment, no matter how fleeting, and to keep pushing forward through life's challenges and surprises. oil pastels and fine liner on card stock</image:caption>

      <image:title>Artworks (with old) - Constant Contemplation, 2022</image:title>
<image:caption>“Constant Contemplation” captures the complex and multi-faceted nature of the human brain, expressed through a dynamic interplay of oil pastels and acrylic paints on a wooden panel. The painting juxtaposes moments of inspiration and frustration, illustrating the highs and lows that come with creative and intellectual pursuits. The use of vivid colors and textures reflects the depth and nuance of the human psyche, and the intricate patterns and shapes convey the intricacies of our thought processes. In its entirety, this powerful artwork is a stunning portrayal of the inner workings of the human mind, a testament to the beauty and complexity of the human experience. oil pastels and acrylic paint on wooden panel</image:caption>

      <image:title>Artworks (with old) - Great Gatz, 2024</image:title>
<image:caption>After reading The Great Gatsby in English Class, I created this piece to emphasize the novel’s theme during 1920s America and its superficial nature. I chose to juxtapose the grand Rolls Royce that Mr. Gatzy drives and the depressing industrial landscape. The “valley” billboard places the setting as the valley of ashes in the novel, representing the moral and social decay of the Roaring 20s; also seen from the hazy smudges of smoke above the car. oil pastel on card stock</image:caption>

      <image:title>Artworks (with old) - Headless Dash, 2019</image:title>
<image:caption>This piece portrays Hong Kong’s fiercely competitive and challenging nature where survival is a constant struggle for office workers. The use of fine liner adds depth and texture to the piece, depicting the office workers mindlessly chasing after different things in order to survive. The city's highly stressful and fast-paced environment is reflected in the frenzied movements of the depicted figure, who seems to be turning into a robot, losing their humanity in the face of intense competition. The overall effect is a poignant commentary on the harsh realities of urban life, capturing the emotions and experiences of those who struggle to keep up in the cutthroat environment of Hong Kong. fine liner on card stock</image:caption>
